About Us

There are many of Swiss heritage who desire to understand their lineage and family story, but run into roadblocks and don’t know where to start.

To do Swiss research well, we have realized that professional research may be needed to access archives and to create an accurate family tree. There is also a need for professional DNA research to help link Swiss family trees together to identify individuals where source records may be missing, such as out-of-wedlock births. 

In November 2020 we came together to form the 501(c)(3) non-profit Swiss GENErations with the three objectives:

(1) Establish a tax-efficient vehicle for funding accurate Swiss family history research, using both DNA and source records.

(2) Create an organized platform for individuals to connect, collaborate, and communicate in researching their families.

(3) Inspire younger generations in family history.
